From a young age, William Bowen has always had an interest in health and fitness.
However, in 2008 a friend recommended that he try taking some Yoga classes for extra flexibility after Will admitted having tightness and stiffness for no apparent reason. So he took heed to his friend’s advice and took a few classes. Within weeks the tightness went away and his performance in the gym improved. Over the years, yoga has also helped him deal with intense situations and let go of what is not necessary.
The benefits he experienced from practicing yoga lead to him to pursue NETA’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher certification. For him, yoga is a way of sharing not only the physical benefits of yoga, but the mental ones as well. He’s currently implementing what he has learned from his teacher training using it in his group exercise courses and vice versa in his yoga classes where it’s appropriate.
