Tiffany’s introduction to yoga was through a book gifted to her for her 14th birthday, where she began to familiarize herself with the philosophy and practice. It wasn’t until college, when the need for balance was most crucial, that she developed a consistent practice under the guidance of a teacher. Her background is in traditional Chinese medicine, which she has learned through generation passed down from her family members in the pursuit of health and wellness of the whole body. She earned a B.S. in Clinical Laboratory Science from Wayne State University, where she works full time in the Pathology Department. Through her yoga practice she aims to merge the studies of health through the lens of Eastern and Western thought. Honoring the body as a whole beyond just our physical anatomy, she believes yoga connects us to our higher selves so that we may better serve our communities by unlocking our full potential.
