THANK YOU for supporting Yoganic Flow and our efforts to raise funds for Detroit Yoga House!
Detroiter Kerrie Trahan began practicing yoga over 12 years ago, when she first participated in a class at the Boll Family YMCA, but it wasn’t until she moved to South Korea that yoga began to wind its way into her life in a much deeper way.
After discovering the practice helped her overcome depression and grief, she began working toward becoming a registered yoga teacher. That study has taken her to Thailand and India, where she amassed enough knowledge to earn a RYT-300 certificate. She brought that knowledge home to Detroit and began sharing it with her family and friends. Out of that was born Yoganic Flow, a community-based yet transient organization that holds pop up classes around the city.
Hey Detroit! Join us on Earth Day (April 22, 2017) for a truly educational, interactive, (and fun!) opportunity for DPSCD families and our Detroit school communities. Yoganic Flow will be offering:
Family Yoga at 12:30pm
The Yoganic Flow team had a GREAT Sunday thanks to Drifter Coffee!
Hi ALL!
Tomorrow, Thursday, June 16, 2016 there is NO CLASS at Adams-Butzel at 6pm. The recreation center will be closed.
Yoganic Flow outdoor yoga classes will be held this summer, on Saturday mornings May 21-August 27, 2016 from 9:00-10:00am. These classes are for ALL skill levels. The classes are provided at no-cost to the community. Join us on the Lawn near Splash Park parking lot, in front of the community garden.
Bring your own mat or towel and wear comfortable clothing so you can move freely. We will add extra Saturday morning classes in September to make up for classes cancelled due to rain. Check our social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) 1 hour before class to learn if class is cancelled or not due to weather conditions. You can also follow the People for Palmer Park on Facebook for weather updates each week.

Hey Detroit Yogis!
The Rec Centers are all closed this weekend (March 25-27, 2016) for the holiday.
In 2015, Yoganic Flow teamed up with Healthy Detroit to expand our yoga program at the Detroit Recreation Department. We added Adams Butzel Recreation Center to our class schedule to offer yoga as a healing modality on the Westside of the city.
Yoga classes are offered at Adams Butzel EVERY THURSDAY 6:00-7:00pm
